Surfing, whether board, bodyboard or bodysurfing is a sport and recreation that requires a range of strength and endurance skills.

Anyone who has scored a good break and been immersed for several hours at a time will know the demands of surfing on heart, muscle, tendon, ligament and bone. You need to be fit.
